Arrangements were finally made for Helmuth Wohlthat to meet with Kennedy. Since Kennedy could not get permission from the White House to attend the meeting in Paris, Wohlthat agreed to meet with him in London. (see folder for accounts of the meeting).

The letter from Puhl to JDM concerns Helmuth Wohlthat, a member of Goering's staff responsible for Germany's "Four Year Plan." This letter contains a separate sheet of information on Wohlthat and his business card.
